"I Cover You"

July 5, 2020

Genesis 2:25-3:24 — When we disobey God and sin we hide in fear. We try to cover up our shame and guilt. But God seeks us and finds us. He covers our shame with the robe of Christ’s righteousness. Living in grace we can stand again naked and unashamed before God and others. Living out grace we cover others with the love and forgiveness of Christ that we have received. In Christ, we now live unashamed.

This is part of our sermon series entitled, Living In Grace, Living Out Grace, based on the book, Safe: Creating a Culture of Grace in a Climate of Shame, by Nick Stumbo.
