The Battle is the Lord’s

2 Chronicles 20:1-30 — How big is your God? What determines the size of your faith? What do you do when you face impossible situations? Do we focus on the problem and ourselves? Do we fall back on our own devices, plans, resources, and strength? Or, do we focus on God? We must set our eyes on God, and not the problem, because the battle is the Lord’s. We pray, fast, worship and praise God. We do not fear. We are not discouraged. We believe. We step out in faith. We take our position, stand firm, and watch God do his kingdom work.

Invincible and Fearless

We trust in the Lord. Therefore, in a world filled with evil, suffering, hatred, and persecution we are invincible as we serve God’s purposes. In a world divided by violence, terrorism, and war, we will be fearless endowed with supernatural courage by the Holy Spirit.

Repent, Rely, Rejoice

DECEMBER 30 2018

As we enter this new year we must not fear. We must not be anxious. Be strong and courageous. Seek first the Kingdom. These are the instructions of our Lord. How? Repent, Rely, Rejoice. Repent — turn back to God. Rely — trust in God. Rejoice — rejoice in the Lord always, glorify God in everything we do. Three R’s to remember and to live by during this new year.
