We Are In Christ Jesus

May 16, 2021

Philippians 1:1-2 (see also Act 16:6-40) — We begin a new sermon series, Rejoice in the Lord Always. We are in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we are slaves of Christ Jesus. We are God’s holy people in Christ Jesus. And we have grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We are in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we rejoice always no matter what the circumstances. We persevere in following His example and living the life He gives us.

This is part of our sermon series, Rejoice in the Lord Always, in which we will be walking through Paul’s letter to the Philippians.

Do Not Give Up

April 11, 2021

2 Corinthians 4:1-18 — We will not give up. We are jars of clay but by God’s grace we are vessels of honor. We carry in us the light of the gospel. We carry in us the glory of Christ, the image of God. We carry in us the resurrection life. We believe in the power of the resurrection. We focus on the unseen, God’s kingdom. Therefore, no matter what happens, no matter the circumstances, we will not give up.

This sermon is the last in our sermon series for the Lent season, 2021, The Way of the Cross.

Jesus Is King & Messiah, Lord & Savior

March 28, 2021 - Palm Sunday

Matthew 21:1-11 — On his way to the cross Jesus entered Jerusalem as King and Messiah. He encountered the crowds, the world, and us today as Lord and Savior. How do we respond to Him? Do we misunderstand Him as the crowds did? Are we ashamed of him and reject him because he does not meet our expectations? No, we believe that He is the real, true King of kings, Lord of the world, and the Messiah, the Savior of the world, and we follow Him on the way of the cross.

This sermon is part of our sermon series for the Lent season, 2021, The Way of the Cross.
